Model answer 1

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a resident of Tynnwald Road, Leeds and I have recently read in the local newspaper that a shopping centre is going to be built near where I live.

This news was rather a surprise to me. I have been living in Tynnwald Road for five years now and it has always been a very quiet street with very few tall buildings. I think a construction like this will change the atmosphere of the area considerably and, like many other residents I have spoken to, I am not at all happy about it.

I think people who live in the area have a right to know more about the plan before it goes ahead, so I would like to request further details regarding the dates of the planned building work and the size of the centre. Also, I sincerely hope you are planning to provide a car park, as otherwise parking will become very difficult for everyone in the area.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Model Answer 2

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to seek more information about the construction of a shopping center at Brenner Street, in which I reside.

It was really surprising for me when I read the news in the local daily about the construction. There are no big shopping facilities in our locality, and so we have to reach the town to shop. The plan is really beneficial for us as we can save our time and money. We also think that this would make the place developed.

One thing I would like to know about is about the parking facility. As the street is basically a residential area, it would be difficult for us when vehicles are parked in front of the gates. I would suggest an underground parking facility rather than looking for other alternatives. I would also like to know the estimated time of completion of the project.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Model Answer 3

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter in reference to an announcement in the India Times newspaper, regarding a shopping centre whose development is planned at Delta Avenue, Sector-103. To be specific, this advertisement was displayed on 23-09-2021 in the Real Estate section.

Firstly, I am not enthusiastic about the update as being a resident of that location from the past few years, not only I, but all the fellow residents deserve to know such information beforehand. Already there is a lot of parking crunch, to which I certainly hope that builders have considered the situation and designed a workaround accordingly. Furthermore, there is a school in our locality, hence loud music will create disruption, especially during festive times. Therefore, strict guidelines should be issued by the authority to the developer to minimize such issues.

Moreover, I would sincerely request you to kindly share specific details about it so I can have an in-depth idea about the aforementioned and I will eventually share the information with everyone in the locality so it can be taken to the Resident’s Welfare Association of nearby societies. Kindly find an enclosed visiting card with my contact details where you can revert.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Dear Sir,

I am IELTSSelfStudy, resident of the Vista community homes located in Hyderabad. I am taking this opportunity to inform you about an ongoing plan to construct a shopping centre on the intersection of Gandhi Road and Nehru road.

I moved to this residential area back in 2010 and since then I am actively involved in the security and maintenance program for the community. Our residential complex is owned by Irfraa developers. During one of the monthly meetings for our program, John Doe circulated a notice that mentioned the plans about building the shopping centre. We are all shocked to hear the developmental plans.

Firstly, our residential area falls under the No Commercial Zone (NCZ) declared by the regulation passed unanimously by the lower house of the council. Moreover, the land under consideration for the project has been secured for a playground which is planned to be constructed in 2024. To investigate further, we would like to review the official construction notice that needs to be circulated by the developer to the impacting neighbourhoods.

I would like to thank you for understanding our frustration and curiosity to know more about the venture.

Model Answer 5

Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Gem apartments situated at the Eastern Expressway and I am writing to enquire about the upcoming shopping center project.

I came across the development plan while listening to the local radio station, as well as, I read about the same in the recent weekly periodical of Deccan News.

I am pleased that the local authorities have approved and welcomed the idea of a shopping complex in the vicinity. This would mean, the localities will no longer have to drive miles towards the downtown every weekend fetching groceries and mandatory supplies.

As a curious inhabitant, I would like to know that by when we are expecting the commencement of the commercial complex. Additionally, will the shopping space be confined to brands of apparels or electronic gadgets or will the mall have hyper city or supermarket catering to daily needs. Last but not the least, during the construction phase will there be any road closures or route diversions.

Looking forward for your response.

Lots of love,
